Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of ARGUS, the anti-cheat software licensed through this store. Payment itself is handled by Tebex, whose own terms apply to the transaction.

1. What you are buying

ARGUS is a subscription licence to run our anti-cheat resource on your own FiveM or RedM server. You are buying access to the software and the service that supports it — the panel, the licensing API and evidence storage — for as long as your subscription is active. You are not buying the software itself, and ownership does not transfer.

2. Your licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run ARGUS on the number of servers included in your plan — one for Basic, three for Premium, six for Elite. Your licence key binds to the servers that use it, and you can release a server from the panel if you rebuild or move host.

3. What you may not do

  • Resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute ARGUS, in whole or in part.
  • Share your licence key, or use one key across more servers than your plan allows.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source of the protected parts of the resource.
  • Remove, alter or obscure any licensing check, build verification or watermark.
  • Use ARGUS to access, collect or process data from servers you do not operate or have permission to operate.

Builds are watermarked and the resource verifies its own source at startup. Distributing a copy is traceable to the licence it came from.

4. Your responsibilities

ARGUS observes players on your server, and processes their in-game identifiers, IP addresses and — before a kick or ban — a short recording of their screen. On your own server that data is yours: you decide the configuration, you decide who is removed, and you are responsible for telling your players what you collect and why, and for complying with the law that applies to you.

You are also responsible for keeping your panel account secure and for what your staff do with the seats you give them.

5. Enforcement is your decision

ARGUS ships in learning mode and does not kick or ban anyone until you enable enforcement. Thresholds, actions and exemptions are yours to configure. We provide detection and evidence; the decision to remove somebody, and the consequences of it, rest with you.

6. Availability

ARGUS connects to our licensing service to validate your key and to deliver evidence to your panel. We work to keep that available but do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may take it down for maintenance. We may change, add or remove features as the product develops; we will not remove something central to your plan without notice.

7. Subscription, renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your Tebex receipt. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices exclude tax, which is calculated at checkout. 8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or revoke a licence if:

  • a payment is refunded or charged back;
  • the licence is shared, resold or used beyond the servers your plan allows;
  • the software is modified to defeat its licensing or verification; or
  • it is used to harass people or to process data from servers you do not operate.

Where a problem looks like a mistake rather than abuse, we will try to reach you first. You can stop using ARGUS at any time by cancelling and removing the resource.

9. No guarantee of detection

No anti-cheat can detect every cheat. Cheat software changes constantly, and ARGUS is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty that it will identify every method used against your server or that it will never flag a legitimate player. We do not warrant that it is error-free or fit for any particular purpose beyond what is described on this store.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost revenue, players or reputation, or for any consequence of a detection, a ban, a missed cheat or a period of unavailability. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing here limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced before they take effect. Continuing to use ARGUS after that means the updated terms apply.

ARGUS is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cfx.re. FiveM and RedM are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe compatibility.
